I Am Sin Yee: Mesotherapy Treatment @ Premier Clinic, Bangsar

I have a confession! I am getting fatter, after I start dating with my dear. Well, I am not blaming him to cause me gaining weight. I am happy and eat more when I am with Danny. In additional, my menstrual cycle was irregular two years ago, so I started to take hormone pills for few months as suggested by doctor. So, this is another reason which causes me to put on weight. I started going to gym and doing workout at home, luckily it helps to reduce my weight, and I realised that I become slimmer. However, my bottom waist still remain. I went to the branch at Bangsar. Appointment is needed before visiting. You can still walk-in; however, since there are only four doctors in two branches, they will take turn to stay at different branches; and hence, you might leave the clinic with disappointment. Before treatment, there was a consultation session with your doctor. My doctor of that day was Dr. Elaine, a pretty young lady who graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Besides, she holds a certificate and Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine.

During the consultation, I told Dr. Elaine about my problem. She soonest suggested me to try the Mesotherapy (a.k.a Mesofat) Injection. She explained how the treatment helps me to lose my fat and the procedure of conducting the treatment.

What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a safe, minimally invasive procedure used to "melt away" fat, and reduce fat and cellulite. Fatty areas, like the abdomen, upper arms, and thighs are often the problem targets. Mesotherapy is an aesthetic medical specialty. It involves injecting microscopic quantities of a variety of pharmaceutical agents, natural plant extracts, homeopathic agents, and vitamins into the skin. The Physician may select a custom formula to treat your condition. Mesotherapy may be effectively used to treat cellulite, weight loss, body sculpting, and rejuvenation - anti-aging of the skin. After consultation, I was brought to the treatment room and get ready for my first aesthetic treatment! Honestly speaking, I was curious and sincerely hoped the treatment will help even though Dr Elaine told me change is not obvious with only first session.

FYI, Premier Clinic is using the smallest syringe. If you can stand for the injection at the normal clinic, the pain you get from Mesotherapy Injection is totally like “mosquitoes bite”. I only felt a little discomfort when injection was made at part with less fats.

Basically, no side effect from Mesotherapy Injection. The only bad thing is you might see a lot of bruises around the injected part. The bruises drained away within a week. Besides, I felt like having muscle pain on the injected part after the treatment but it only lasted a night. Hence, if you experience the same, don’t panic.

So in the end, did I see any change? YES! I was super excited. I saw changes at the night itself! I took measurement and guess what? The treatment has successfully help to reduce 5cm! Seriously, I can’t believe my bottom waist which I can’t get rid of after few months, with only one Mesotherapy Injection, it helped to reduce 5cm! Guess if I continue to take more session, it will give me a pleasant result! Overall, Premiere Clinic provides excellent service. They even follow-up with me the next day to see whether I experienced any discomfort after the treatment.
