Philips claims that this Philips PerfectsCare Azur Steam Iron can maintain the perfect combination of temperature and steam to deliver an ironing performance. It utilises a Smart Control processor to set the right temperature combined with Heat Flow technology to enable an even stream of steam and temperature balance.

In other words, Philips PerfectCare Azur Steam Iron is:-

  2. 100% easy to use, no adjustment required due to the perfect combination of Smart Control Processor and HeatFlow technology.

How to use:
Pour water into the iron until the max water level. Turn on the iron, wait less than one minute, you can start ironing your clothes. FYI, PerfectCare Azur steam iron is designed to be used with tap water. However, for better ironing results Philips recommends to use deminaralized water.

There is also a steam boost button on the holder, and hence, you can use Philips PerfectCare Azur Steam Iron for vertical steaming or tough creases. Additionally, they have a "water spray" button (labelled as A below), user can press the button to spray the water on the garments. For button labelled as B, user can adjust to shut down the steam, or can either choose to use Eco mode or Non-Eco mode for ironing.

Review:Philips PerfectCare Azur Steam Iron is the first steam iron I have used. It is truly easy to use because I don't need to adjust the temperature based on different fabrics. And surprisingly, I never think ironing can be so easy before this. Previously when using the traditional iron, I tended to spray more water and press the iron harder to remove the wrinkle, but with Philips PerfectCare Azur Steam Iron, I only put it on top of my shirt, and push in light force, the tricky wrinkle disappear!

Apart from that, Philips PerfectCare Azur Steam Iron will automatically shut down if you left it unattended. For example, if the iron was left on the soleplate, it will shut down after 2 minutes. It is a brilliant idea for every mum, especially who is taking care of baby. Imagine the baby cries when the new mummy is ironing, then she forgot to switch off the iron before leaving?

Nonetheless, Philips PerfectCare Azur Steam Iron is a heavy iron. The first time when I brought it home, I seem like carrying a big stone. Therefore, if you would like to do vertical ironing, you may find yourself feeling tired after ironing. Except from its weight, I enjoyed ironing a lot with Philips PerfectCare Azur Steam Iron.
